Dopo una piccola pausa e un pò di hyperlink in arretrato, avevo dei brutti appunti sulle evoluzioni estemporanee della piattaforme di adv on-line.

Poi però è spuntato questo articolo su Airbnb e mi ha catturato: non tanto le cose che cube (in sè, vedremo, blande) ma l’aggettivo usato e i concetti portati:

”Airbnb claims its “very disciplined” method to advertising and marketing over the previous couple of years is paying off.”

Mano al dizionario

Ho controllato “disciplined” per essere sicuro di non cadere nella trappola di una facile traduzione e invece no: disciplinato, metodico, organizzato. Torna.
Quindi io felice che advert Airbnb il disciplined advertising and marketing funzioni ma prima, esattamente, cosa facevano? Anarchy advertising and marketing?

L’articolo in sè è abbastanza PR pushed (d’altronde estrapola dichiarazioni advert uso degli investitori. Ho detto tutto) e non svela quindi moltissimo, segnalo come clou:

Trick or deal with?

Qui apparente ossimoro, ma solo apparente: mi giochi in model ma il ROI (efficiency) è molto alto. Posto che detto così è piuttosto vago MA se sei Airbnb e hai un consciousness comunque radicata, probabilmente è il tuo model l’asset di efficiency migliore. Per dire:
”The model upped its gross sales and advertising and marketing spend to $514m (£411m) through the first quarter of 2024, from $450m final yr”

E altro momentino clou:

In accordance with Mertz, these ROI enhancements have been pushed by regularly testing and bettering execution, in addition to increasing the goal audiences.

Nota: Ellie Mertz è CFO di Airbnb. Un* CFO che parla di advertising and marketing non è cosa banale. Elenca “key phrase protection” > ipotizzo abbiano presidiato in search più parole chiave, anche se stride un pò coi discorsi sul model di prima + “enhancements to the touchdown web page” > finest follow mai abbastanza ascoltata.
Nulla di esoterico insomma: tanto buon senso invece e again to fundamentals.

So what?

Una manciata di pseudo conclusioni:
– fai del sano disciplined advertising and marketing
– daje di consciousness se sei un Model; altrimenti è bello fare anche efficiency
– se anche con $514m di finances si concentrano su key phrase protection e enhancements to the touchdown web page: tranquill*, lo puoi fare anche tu e restare umile.
