The NCSS seeks to construct off of the success of the prior version launched in 2018, which established the Canadian Centre for Cyber Safety and Nationwide Cybercrime Coordination Unit below the purview of the RCMP. The NCSS goals to strengthen Canada’s general cyber safety resiliency by strategic partnerships, investments in innovation, and elevated detection and disruption of cyber assaults.
